The Piece

This stadium jacket comes from the collaboration between The Real McCoy's and Disney, released in a strictly limited run of 300 pieces. Made in Japan, it joins American varsity heritage to the exacting standards of Japanese reproduction, so that it serves as both wearable history and archival collectible.

Across the back, a fully embroidered Mickey Mouse 'Touchdown' motif is worked in dense chain stitch and layered patches in the manner of mid-century American athletic jackets. Genuine leather sleeves on a heavy wool body follow the construction of original 1940s–1950s stadium jackets.

Unlike mass-market Disney apparel, the jacket was conceived for adult collectors and vintage specialists: The Real McCoy's applied period-correct ribbing, silhouette balance and embroidery scale, aiming for authenticity rather than novelty.
