Dries Van Noten: An Antwerp Six Designer
Dries Van Noten presented his first menswear collection in London in 1986 as one of the Antwerp Six, and in 1989 opened his first boutique, Het Modepaleis, in Antwerp. Puig acquired a majority stake in 2018. In March 2024 Van Noten announced his retirement; his final collection was menswear for spring and summer 2025. The house is dated in the Encyclopedia.
The collection will fill as the archive grows. Season, size and condition are recorded in each description, and the season on the inside tag is often the best guide to dating a piece.
