Collection: Goyard

Founded in Paris in 1853, Maison Goyard built its name on trunks for travellers who valued endurance over display, later dressing them in the house's distinctive chevron-patterned canvas. Fewer pieces survive than from its larger rival, which keeps early Goyard among the quieter prizes of trunk collecting.

The pieces here come from Japanese private collections and are documented in full: numbers, labels, fittings and condition, photographed before they leave Japan. Larger trunks travel crated and insured through our Museum-Grade Logistics Suite™, and the Hunting Salon™ can search for a particular model.
