A spectacular reversible sukajan by Miyabi Musubi in two jewel-toned moods. One face glows fuchsia with red and white kingyo swimming among lotus and golden currents; the other turns deep purple and charcoal, where a monumental silver dragon coils through chrysanthemums. Luminous and playful on one side, nocturnal and commanding on the other.
The Piece
The first face pairs vivid fuchsia satin with pale champagne sleeves, gold piping and striped rib-knit trim. Red and white kingyo goldfish swim through stylized golden currents among lotus flowers and broad green leaves, in varied poses that give the composition depth and motion; their bright vermilion scales, white fins, black accents and dimensional stitched eyes stand out against the saturated ground. Lotus blossoms and leaves frame the fish while sweeping gold and charcoal lines suggest moving water, and the embroidery continues from the chest across the shoulders and sleeves and around the back, giving this side the richness of a textile painting rather than a single isolated motif.
Reversed, the jacket becomes a darker statement in deep purple, charcoal, silver and lavender. A large silver-scaled dragon coils vertically across the purple back panel, surrounded by chrysanthemums and floral embroidery in lavender, violet, white, gray and yellow-gold, its long serpentine body following the shape of the jacket for an impressive silhouette when worn. The front carries two mirrored dragons descending along the chest, with chrysanthemums, peony-like flowers, fan details and decorative sleeve embroidery; silver-gray sleeves balance the deep purple body and striped ribbing completes the classic Yokosuka bomber profile.
The goldfish side feels joyful, theatrical and almost dreamlike; the dragon side, with its dark floral ground and metallic silver embroidery, has a more ceremonial presence. That contrast makes the jacket unusually versatile, from bright fuchsia Japanese streetwear to a dark purple dragon sukajan, festival and concert outerwear, unisex Y2K styling or displayable textile art. The saturated jewel colors, elaborate reversible construction, dense decorative embroidery and fashion-forward treatment of traditional motifs are consistent with late 20th to early 21st century Japanese sukajan and Y2K streetwear design: a modern collectible souvenir jacket rather than an early postwar military-tour example, of particular interest to collectors of Japanese street fashion, embroidered outerwear, Harajuku styling, tattoo art and unusual reversible garments.

Fit Notes
Japanese L-XL is expected to correspond approximately to a contemporary Western M-L, depending on body shape, layering and desired fit. Japanese sukajan often have a shorter body and more compact silhouette than Western bombers; the raglan construction gives flexibility through the shoulders and the ribbed waistband creates the classic slightly cropped shape.
