The Piece

The back is the undisputed centerpiece. The warrior is rendered in deep indigo, rust orange, ivory, black, gray and muted gold thread, his robes densely patterned and his swords crossed behind him, a bare foot reaching toward the front of the machine with a deliberately exaggerated, almost manga-like sense of motion.
