Specialist cargo: shipping invoiced separately
This piece travels as air or sea cargo rather than by post. You pay for the piece at checkout. Shipping and handling for the cargo shipment are invoiced separately, once we have reviewed your order, the piece and your delivery address.
We advise requesting a delivery quote before purchase. If you order without one, please allow a suitable budget for the cargo invoice. Japonista determines the final handling, crating, packing and freight cost when the order is received and prepared, according to the piece, the destination and carrier conditions at that time.
Preparation takes 2 to 4 weeks before the piece is handed to our export broker and carrier. Delivery is to the destination airport or seaport. Customs clearance there and delivery to your door can be arranged at additional cost on request. Duties and import taxes are payable by the recipient. Your piece is held for you until the cargo invoice is settled; any cancellation is agreed between us.
