The Petit Noé in Toledo blue Epi leather, made in France in 1998: the drawstring bucket bag in the house’s most saturated colour.

The Piece

Louis Vuitton made the first Noé in 1932 for a champagne maker, sized to carry five bottles. The Petit Noé scales it down to everyday use while keeping the drawstring and the round base.

Epi leather, introduced in 1985, is pressed with a fine ridged grain that holds dye beautifully and shrugs off scratches. The blue of the late 1990s is one of its most sought-after shades.
