Armani: A Milan House of 1975

Giorgio Armani S.p.A. was founded in Milan on 24 July 1975 by Giorgio Armani and Sergio Galeotti. Emporio Armani, the younger line, followed in the early 1980s. Giorgio Armani died on 4 September 2025, aged 91. This collection gathers the Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani labels together, and the house is dated in the Encyclopedia.

The collection will fill as the archive grows. Season, size and condition are recorded in each description, and the season on the inside tag is often the best guide to dating a piece.
