“Collector’s Artifact Edition”
Some items were never meant to be mainstream—they were made to be legend. These ultra-rare Murakami × PORTER TANKER Boots, released as part of the BS06 T.Z. ORIGINAL project, stand among the most elusive wearable art pieces to come out of Tonari no Zingaro. This pair arrives unused, complete, and museum-grade.
Created through an experimental collaboration between Takashi Murakami and PORTER, the BS06 T.Z. ORIGINAL TANKER Boots reinterpret PORTER’s iconic “TANKER” nylon series as a futuristic, modular art-fashion hybrid. The military-inspired nylon body, combined with Murakami’s signature neon highlights and oversized velcro architecture, transforms a functional boot into a sculptural statement.
This edition includes the full modular pouch system—designed to echo PORTER’s classic utility pockets—allowing the boots to function not only as footwear but as a wearable gear platform. Each piece is meticulously crafted in Japan, using the same high-spec materials as PORTER’s flagship bags.
Collectors of Murakami’s art recognize the BS06 series as a milestone in his wearable design journey. Released in extremely limited quantities, often sold only through Tonari no Zingaro, these boots are nearly impossible to source today, especially in unused condition with complete accessories and original kit components.
Beyond its rarity, the boots are a time capsule of Murakami’s playful industrial aesthetics—bright, surreal, utilitarian, and unmistakably Superflat. The visual presence alone makes them an instant centerpiece in any contemporary fashion archive.
This pair is unused, with crisp nylon, clean soles, fresh foam interiors, and pristine hardware. A museum-quality artifact suitable for collectors, fashion archivists, and Murakami completists.
