The first meeting of Pink House and Maison Mihara Yasuhiro, a chunky cable cardigan with knitted bears nestled in the cables and the distressed edges Mihara is known for.
The Piece
Pink House has dressed Japanese romantics since 1973 with its frills, florals and much-loved bears. Its first collaboration with Maison Mihara Yasuhiro arrived in September 2026, and it sold out almost immediately in both brands' stores. The meeting point is the Pink House bear cardigan, reworked through Mihara's taste for damage and disorder.
The cardigan is knitted on a low gauge from thick yarn into deep cables. Instead of peeking out from a pocket, as on the classic Pink House version, small knitted bears sit tucked into the cable gaps across the front and sleeves. The cuffs and hem are deliberately broken and frayed. It closes with large brown buttons, has two patch pockets, and carries both the Pink House and Mihara labels as well as the house patch at the hem.
Size 38 wears roomy and slightly cropped, with dropped shoulders. It is warm enough to wear as outerwear in early autumn and looks best over a simple dress or with wide denim.
