Dsquared2: Canadian Twins, Milanese Heat
Dsquared2 was founded in 1995 by the twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten, who were born in Canada and built the label in Milan. It is known for distressed and embellished denim, cut-away tailoring and a knowing sense of showmanship, and its jackets and jeans became a staple of Italian-made ready-to-wear for men.
In Japan the label has been carried by department stores and select boutiques for years, so denim, leather and outerwear from the 2000s onward are well represented in the pre-owned market. Distressing is deliberate on these pieces; we separate original finish from genuine wear so the condition rank is honest.
Sizing follows Italian cuts, which run slim; consult the measurements in each description and compare them with a garment you own.
