Toys McCoy N-1 Leather Deck Jacket TMJ1325 “Buccaneers” Pin-Up, Horsehide Civilian Version, Size 36

Toys McCoy reimagines the Navy N-1 deck jacket in horsehide for this civilian version, model TMJ1325. The back carries a “Buccaneers” pin-up within a heraldic shield above a “Fly With Fleet” banner, and the jacket presents near-mint, with its original tags retained.

The Piece

The original N-1 deck jacket was issued to U.S. Navy personnel against wind, salt and freezing spray. Toys McCoy's leather civilian interpretation keeps that utilitarian frame, with a heavy-duty button front, thick wool pile collar, quilted lining, reinforced seams and a structured drape, and executes it in richly grained horsehide of a deep aged brown. Leather variants of the N-1 are considerably rarer than the cloth original.

The reverse bears the “Buccaneers” motif: a stylized pin-up standing within a heraldic shield, flanked by aerial and naval symbolism, above the phrase “Fly With Fleet,” evoking WWII naval aviation culture. Humor, allure and squadron identity fuse in one emblem, and the artwork has a softly aged, slightly ghosted finish.
