A Studio Ghibli × Studio D’Artisan sukajan in black velvet celebrating Porco Rosso (1992), Hayao Miyazaki’s film about a cursed Italian flying ace turned bounty hunter. The pairing is a natural one: Studio D’Artisan, founded in Osaka and one of the pioneers of Japanese selvedge denim, has long used the pig as its emblem.

Velvet gives the embroidery a deep, light-absorbing ground in the tradition of the Yokosuka souvenir jacket.
