When Kamen Rider debuted in 1971, the hero did not arrive by magic; he rode in, fast, loud and mechanical. This full-scale custom Cyclone carries the machine's white and red fairing and aggressive forward stance on a real, rideable motorcycle, a life-scale interpretation of one of Japan's founding heroic myths.
The Piece
The Cyclone is inseparable from Kamen Rider itself. The franchise redefined children's television by fusing motorcycle culture, anti-establishment heroism and body-horror science fiction into a single icon. This custom motorcycle does not attempt to restore a specific filming bike; instead it embodies the Cyclone's visual language, the white and red fairing, the forward stance and the unmistakable silhouette that signaled justice arriving at speed. It occupies a rare category: a rideable, life-scale interpretation of narrative identity.
In the series the motorcycle is not an accessory but the threshold between human and Rider, the place where henshin continues even after transformation. Speed reads as moral clarity, evil confronted head-on; the fairing evokes insectoid geometry, recalling the show's bio-mechanical horror roots; white speaks of rebirth, red of urgency and sacrifice. The Cyclone is the hero in transit, the embodiment of resolve.
The machine is built on a full-scale motorcycle base, professionally customized, with fairing proportions aligned to Showa visual references and functional mechanical components in a rideable configuration. The finish favors visual presence over concours originality, suited to display or ceremonial riding. It is not a prop shell but materially substantial, mechanically real and spatially commanding, at home in controlled riding, exhibition, a storefront, a museum lobby or a private collection.
Original Cyclone filming bikes were modified on set, rebuilt repeatedly and often destroyed or discarded, so authentic examples almost never surface, and when they do they are institutional pieces. Modern custom Cyclones exist because demand far exceeds the survivors, because fans have matured into collectors with space and reverence, and because tokusatsu has moved from children's television into heritage culture. This machine belongs to that second-generation preservation wave, functioning at once as vehicle, sculpture and cultural signal for high-end tokusatsu collectors, motorcycle collectors drawn to narrative customs, and museums, studios or retailers seeking a visual anchor.

Freight & Crating
Because of its packed weight and dimensions, the motorcycle cannot travel by parcel services such as EMS, DHL, FedEx or UPS and is shipped by cargo or freight. Preparation includes partial disassembly (handlebars, mirrors, fairing protection), a steel or reinforced wood crate, foam isolation and wheel bracing, followed by coordination with domestic logistics, international freight consolidators and export brokers.
Freight is quoted separately once the destination, delivery method and handling requirements are confirmed, and collectors are asked to request a customized quotation before purchase; the indicative estimate to the USA is approximately $9,500, door to door subject to quotation. Surface sea cargo is anticipated, with 2–4 months to port arrival depending on documentation and clearance; overall delivery estimates of 6 to 10 weeks have also been given, depending on routing, carrier availability and customs.
- Estimated crate size: 220 × 100 × 130 cm, volume ~2.86 m³
- Crated weight: ~260–300 kg
