The Piece

Louis Vuitton introduced the Masters Collection with Jeff Koons in 2017, translating celebrated works from art history onto handbags, backpacks and accessories. Rather than simply reproducing the paintings, Koons overlaid them with metallic artist names, Louis Vuitton symbols and contemporary color, and the Mona Lisa series became one of the most recognizable parts of the project.
