Serigrafía "Stan Smith A" de KYNE × adidas, edición firmada de 30, gran retrato japonés contemporáneo enmarcado

KYNE's "Stan Smith A" absorbs the famous adidas endorsement layout into the artist's own spare portraiture. Issued in a signed edition of thirty and presented in a full gallery frame, this large silkscreen sits between fine art and cultural artifact, shaped by street aesthetics and the discipline of contemporary printmaking.

The Piece

Produced in collaboration with adidas Originals, the work adopts the iconic Stan Smith endorsement layout and reinterprets it. Branding hierarchy gives way to KYNE's signature figure, rendered in clean, controlled linework and a restrained palette, so that identity is quietly reconfigured within the language of global branding. The endorsement format remains, but the celebrity is gone, replaced by a quiet, anonymous face.

KYNE's strength lies in reduction: line, form and presence, with every unnecessary detail removed. The figure does not demand attention, it holds it, with a controlled stillness that feels deliberate, almost architectural. The blue-and-white palette is declarative rather than decorative, echoing corporate identity, street signage and product labeling, while the human face disrupts that uniformity and leaves the work suspended between corporate precision and personal identity.

At nearly one meter in height, the vertical composition behaves as a wall anchor and an identity marker within a room, a print that defines a collection rather than blending into it.
