The Piece

The Cobra represents a quieter, more sculptural side of Audemars Piguet. Its design does not separate watch head from bracelet: the white-gold bracelet rises naturally into the softly rounded case, its closely articulated links forming a luminous, textile-like woven surface that moves with the wrist. Bracelet, case and dial read as one continuous object, and nothing appears added afterward.

The case measures approximately 27mm across excluding the crown, restrained proportions that let the bracelet and dial dominate. Against the cool metal, the black dial introduces dramatic depth, with twelve individually set diamond hour markers giving controlled flashes of brilliance around the perimeter and slender hands preserving the balance of the composition; it is among the most elegant configurations of the Cobra family, luxurious without excess.

At approximately 76.7 grams, the watch carries substantial precious-metal presence for its scale.
