The Piece

The Cobra reveals an entirely different side of Audemars Piguet. Its presence comes not from scale or complication but from construction as a single continuous object: the white-gold bracelet flows directly into the softly rounded rectangular case, its tightly articulated links creating a shimmering, almost textile-like texture across the wrist, so that the watch reads less as a head on a bracelet than as continuous precious-metal architecture.

The case measures approximately 26.5mm across excluding the crown, keeping the bracelet and dial in focus. At the center, the deep black dial gives dramatic contrast to twelve individually mounted diamond hour markers around the perimeter, while slender white-metal hands preserve the simplicity of the composition and let the diamond indexes supply controlled flashes of brilliance.
