Undercover's spring-summer 2024 rider in light black cowhide, cut with cotton knit back and side panels and an eyelet zip that gives the familiar silhouette a softer, more wearable hand.
The Piece
Jun Takahashi has re-cut the motorcycle jacket in many forms, and the spring-summer 2024 version is one of the most practical. The leather is a lightweight cowhide, and the back and side panels are replaced with black cotton knit so the jacket moves and breathes more like a cardigan than armour.
All the rider details remain: asymmetric front zip, snap lapels, slanted zipped pockets, zipped cuffs and a belt loop with a ring at the hem. The front zip runs through eyelets, a detail the Japanese call hatome zip. Inside, the lining is cupro with the Undercover Co., Ltd label on the leather facing. Reference UC1D4206, Japanese retail ¥143,000.
Size 3: 48 cm at the shoulder and 55 cm across the chest. Made in Japan, and still with its original tags.
