Undercover AW2024 Twin Peaks Wool Serge Single-Button Blazer with Agent Cooper Patches, Black, Size 3

Undercover's Autumn/Winter 2024 homage to Twin Peaks, cut as a black wool serge single-button blazer and scattered with printed patches of Agent Cooper, Laura Palmer and the Welcome to Twin Peaks sign.

The Piece

Jun Takahashi has returned to David Lynch's Twin Peaks more than once, and for Autumn/Winter 2024 he revisited the town under an official licence. The menswear show recast Lynch's dreamlike Pacific Northwest through tailoring, and the patched blazers were among the defining pieces of the season.

This one is built in a dense tumbled wool serge with a clean notch lapel, a single button and flap pockets. Printed patches in the series' cool cyan tone are applied with deliberate irregularity: Kyle MacLachlan's Agent Cooper at the left hip, the Welcome to Twin Peaks town sign at the right, a scene fragment at the left cuff and Laura Palmer's portrait high on the back. A small patch also appears at the right cuff.

Model UC2D4101-2, tagged size 3, with a wool shell, polyester patch areas and a cupro lining, carrying both the UNDERCOVER JUN TAKAHASHI and the official Twin Peaks licence labels inside. The cut is Undercover's slim, slightly lengthened tailoring; size 3 suits a men's medium to large.

Worn with black trousers it reads as a sharp evening jacket until the patches catch the light; over denim and a hoodie it becomes the conversation piece of the room.
