The Piece

The L01 is the motorcycle jacket at the heart of Saint Laurent Paris: introduced under Hedi Slimane and cut narrow, short and high in the armhole, it set the rock and roll silhouette of the 2010s and has remained a permanent part of the house's collections.

This example is in soft black lambskin with silver-tone hardware: an asymmetric front zip, notched collar with snaps, epaulettes, two vertical chest zips, a slanted zip pocket and snap-flap coin pocket at the hem, a buckle belt and zipped cuffs. Inside, it carries the Saint Laurent Paris label and a cupro and cotton lining, along with the Kering Japan import label of the Japanese boutique network.

Model 358686 Y5FA2, tagged FR 34, a women's extra small to small. Measurements: shoulder 38.5 cm, chest 41 cm across, sleeve 58 cm, length 48.5 cm.
