Daft Punk’s gold-helmeted Guy-Manuel as a 70 cm designer figure, made for Medicom Toy Exhibition 2012. New and sealed in its original shipping carton.
The Piece
BE@RBRICK is the bear-shaped blank that Medicom Toy has handed to artists, musicians and fashion houses since 2001. The 1000% size stands about 70 cm tall, and this edition dresses it as Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk: a gold chrome helmet and ears, a black jacket with white zip lines and belt, and the group’s script logo across the back.
It was released to mark Medicom Toy Exhibition 2012 and has not been opened. The original carton is labelled “B@ 1000% DAFT PUNK Guy Manuel de Homem-Christo, 1 Pcs”. The first two images are the maker’s product photographs; the third shows the carton label.
