A trucker jacket from Amen Break, Virgil Abloh's final completed Louis Vuitton collection, printed all over with a lilac-sky alpine panorama that falls to green forest at the hem.

The Piece

Amen Break, Virgil Abloh's spring-summer 2022 collection for Louis Vuitton, took its name from the six-second drum loop that underpins decades of hip hop and jungle. It was the last collection Abloh completed, and its clothes are full of dreamlike imagery: landscapes, skies and illusions printed onto workwear and tailoring.

This trucker jacket is printed edge to edge with an alpine panorama: a lilac and pink sky over snow-capped peaks, falling to green forest at the hem and cuffs, so the mountains wrap the body as one continuous view. The ivory collar has long pointed tips, the silver-tone buttons are engraved, and a chain hanger sits inside the collar. A tan suede Monogram patch with a metal LV sits at the back waist, and an Amen Break label is stitched inside. Shell and lining in cotton, with a cowhide patch. Made in Italy.

Size 48 sits short and square, a cropped trucker shape. It wants simple clothes around it, a white tee and pale trousers, and it photographs like a postcard.
