The LV Spray denim jacket in size 50: white denim misted in teal and ink, with Monogram flowers and initials floating through the colour and a stamped patch at the back waist.
The Piece
Louis Vuitton's menswear studio has long treated denim as a canvas, and the LV Spray jacket shows the idea at its simplest. White denim is sprayed with a teal-to-ink gradient, as if with an aerosol, and small Monogram flowers and LV initials float through the mist in white, giving the effect of street art on a classic garment.
The cut is an oversized trucker with a pointed collar, two flapped chest pockets with LV buttons, welt hand pockets, button cuffs and side waist tabs. Contrast tobacco topstitching outlines every seam, and a tan suede-effect patch stamped with Monogram flowers and a metal LV sits at the back waist. Inside, a polyester and cotton lining. Made in Italy.
Size 50 is generous, wide across the shoulder and short in the body, so it drapes easily over a hoodie. It is a bright, summery jacket that pairs best with dark denim or cream trousers.
