An indigo workwear blouson from the autumn-winter 2025 meeting of Pharrell Williams and Nigo, woven through with the Monogram Clouds jacquard that turns the house flowers into drifting Japanese cloud forms.

The Piece

For autumn-winter 2025 Pharrell Williams invited his old friend Nigo into the Louis Vuitton studio, and the result was the most Japanese collection the house has shown in years. Nigo's love of workwear, mending and Edo-period ornament ran through the season, and the Monogram Clouds jacquard became its signature: Monogram flowers and initials set inside outlined cloud shapes, as if stitched over the cloth like boro patches.

This is the Monogram Denim Workwear Blouson, the season's chore-coat silhouette. The indigo denim has been washed to a soft, broken-in tone, so the ivory jacquard clouds stand out with real depth. Details follow classic French work jackets: a rounded collar, a button front with engraved gold-tone shanks, a chest pocket over two lower patch pockets, buttoned cuffs and an adjustable cinch strap at the back waist. Inside, the polyester and cotton lining is printed with the cloud motif in tone, and a gold chain hanger loop sits under the collar.

In size 52 it wears boxy and generous, sitting at the hip and leaving room for a hoodie or heavy knit underneath. It is the kind of jacket that suits plain trousers and a white T-shirt best, and leaves the cloth to speak for itself.
