A Junya Watanabe biker jacket covered entirely in black sequins, with the full motorcycle detail of zips, snaps and a buckled belt, from the AD2024 production for spring-summer 2025.
The Piece
Junya Watanabe often takes the motorcycle jacket out of its usual material and into an unlikely one. Here the classic shape is worked entirely in black sequins on polyester, so the toughest of outer garments catches the light like eveningwear.
Every biker element is present: an asymmetric front zip, wide lapels with silver snap studs, angled zip pockets, zipped cuffs and a belted waist with a square buckle. The sequins are applied densely and evenly across body and sleeves, and the interior is lined in smooth black cupro.
Product code JO-J015, AD2024, made in Japan. The cut is neat and close at the shoulder, finishing at the hip.
A piece that dresses up denim as well as it finishes an evening look.
