HONMA BERES MG803 2-Star Iron Set, 5 to 9 plus PW, AW and SW, 8 Clubs, ARMRQ UD54 2S Regular Flex

BERES MG803, two-star grade, 5 to 9 plus PW, AW and SW, right-handed, on ARMRQ UD54 2S shafts in regular flex.

The Piece

Since 1959 Honma has made every club in Sakata, in Yamagata prefecture, and BERES is the series that carries the house’s full craft: forged heads, hand polishing and carbon shafts wound on site. The star grade printed on the shaft tells the tier at a glance, from two-star standard shafts to three-star premium builds and the gold-plated four- and five-star editions.

The MG803 of 2009 is a forged BERES iron with a deep cavity and the ARMRQ UD shaft, from the first years of the line. This set runs 5 to 9 plus PW, AW and SW, 8 clubs in all, right-handed, on ARMRQ UD54 2S shafts in regular flex.
