HONMA BERES IS-03 2-Star Iron Set, 6 to 11, 6 Clubs, ARMRQ8 54 2S Stiff Flex

BERES IS-03, two-star grade, 6 to 11, right-handed, on ARMRQ8 54 2S shafts in stiff flex.

The Piece

Honma’s Sakata factory makes BERES irons the slow way: forged heads, hand finishing, and ARMRQ shafts wound in-house rather than bought in. Each set carries a star grade, two stars being the entry to the line, three stars a lighter premium shaft with gold accents, four stars and above adding 24-karat gold plates and rings.

The IS-03 of 2014 is a forged cavity iron with a slot in the sole that lets the face flex, pairing a soft feel with easy height. This set runs 6 to 11, 6 clubs in all, right-handed, on ARMRQ8 54 2S shafts in stiff flex.
