The Argentine plains in pen and ink: gauchos breaking horses, whirling bolas and coiled lassos, scattered across ivory silk.

The Piece

Pampa follows the horsemen of the South American grasslands. Riders in ponchos and wide hats rope and break their horses inside navy roundels, while their tools, bolas, spurs, rawhide whips, loop between them.

The pale ground and fine drawing make it one of the quieter equestrian carrés, easy to wear with almost anything.

A carré 90, cut from silk twill with hand-rolled edges, about 90 cm (35.4 in) square.
