An unused Hermès Birkin 25 made to personal order in Epsom calfskin, Bleu Electrique with Rouge Tomate handles, straps and edges, and brushed gold hardware.
The Piece
Hermès personal orders, known as special orders and marked with a small horseshoe stamp, allow a client to choose the leather, colours and hardware of a Birkin. They are offered by invitation and each takes many months, so a two-tone special-order Birkin 25 in an assured colour pairing is among the most desirable bags the house makes.
This one combines Bleu Electrique, a saturated cobalt, for the body with Rouge Tomate, a warm tomato red, for the handles, straps, gussets, piping and interior. The hardware is brushed gold, a finish reserved for special orders, and the horseshoe stamp appears beside the Hermès Paris Made in France heat stamp. Epsom is a light, embossed calfskin that holds its structure and resists scratches.
The 25 cm size is the most sought-after Birkin today: small enough to carry by hand all day, with an interior zip pocket and open pocket for essentials.

Condition
- Unused, from boutique display.
- Slight discolouration to the base studs and very faint rubbing inside the base from display.
- Protective film still on the hardware.
- The keys show a very small spot of oxidation.

Leather, saddle stitching, edge finish and blind stamp are examined together and documented in Japan before dispatch. Every piece carries the Japonista authenticity guarantee. Store stuffed and upright in its dust bag away from sunlight, and keep Epsom away from oils and heat.
