eYe Junya Watanabe MAN x Palace AW2023 Cordura Down Jacket with Hood, Black, Size XS

The Palace collaboration from the eYe Junya Watanabe MAN line, Autumn/Winter 2023: a hooded down jacket in Cordura nylon, carrying both labels and a reflective trim that turns night streets into part of the design.

The Piece

In October 2023 Palace Skateboards and eYe Junya Watanabe MAN released a single, much-anticipated outerwear piece. It joined two very different traditions, the London skate brand's graphic irreverence and Watanabe's patient reworking of utility clothing, and it sold out quickly in Tokyo, London and New York.

Model WL-J905, dated AD2023, is a hooded down jacket in black Cordura nylon, filled with 90% down and 10% feather. The front is a field of cargo pockets: bellows pockets with flaps, a Palace triangle and a Cordura label printed across the chest panels. A reflective line runs around the back yoke and down the sleeves, and the cuffs close with hook-and-loop tabs. Inside, a fleece-lined collar and inner cuffs add comfort, and the collar carries both the Palace Cordura label and the eYe Junya Watanabe MAN tag.

The cut is boxy and slightly cropped, with plenty of room for a hoodie underneath. The Palace label is marked S while the Junya tag reads XS, so think of it as a small that wears true to the Japanese sizing.

Collaborations between Palace and Comme des Garçons lines are rare, and this jacket is already a reference point for collectors of both.
