A ZENBU sukajan that turns traditional warrior symbolism into two complete jackets. The vibrant pink face carries a samurai musha, a tiger, a dragon, skulls and flowers; the black reverse answers with intricate dragon artwork and golden warrior-inspired embroidery.

The Piece

The pink satin side brings a bright statement palette, with large samurai musha and tiger artwork, a dragon, skull and floral embroidery including cherry blossoms. The reverse is a darker, more traditional black satin face with intricate dragon artwork and elegant gold, warrior-inspired embroidery, the more versatile of the two for everyday wear.

The motifs come from the core of Japanese art and storytelling. The musha (武者) warrior stands for honor and strength, discipline and courage, and the spirit of the warrior tradition; the tiger (虎, tora) for power and protection, fearlessness and strength against adversity; the dragon (龍, ryū), legendary creature of Japanese and East Asian mythology, for wisdom, protection, power and transformation.
