Weathered Navy-and-Ivory Souvenir Jacket with Eagle, Pine and Japan Embroidery

A striking vintage Japanese sukajan featuring dramatic eagle embroidery, a deep navy satin-finish body and contrasting ivory raglan sleeves.

The reverse presents a large eagle descending through stylized pine branches beneath the embroidered word “Japan.” Two smaller mirrored eagles decorate the chest, creating a balanced old-school souvenir-jacket composition with wonderful movement and character.

This is a visibly aged and well-worn vintage garment. Surface discoloration, staining and loosened embroidery are part of its present condition, giving the jacket an unmistakably authentic, time-softened appearance rather than the polished finish of a modern reproduction.

The central embroidery depicts an eagle with wings fully extended, talons lowered and beak open as it descends through clusters of evergreen pine.
