The Undercover x Kamilla Tolno varsity in mustard wool and black leather, spelling A Wolf Will Never Be a Pet across the front in multicoloured chenille, with a white rose and bleeding heart on the back.
The Piece
For autumn-winter 2023 Jun Takahashi worked with the Danish artist Kamilla Tolno, whose naive, emotionally direct drawings suited Undercover's taste for the tender and the threatening in one image. The result was a small group of pieces, and this varsity jacket is the boldest of them.
The body is a mustard wool melton with black leather sleeves. Across the front, chenille letters in red, blue, green, white and cream read A Wolf Will Never Be a Pet. The back spells UNDER COVER around a large white rose that sheds a drop of red. A chenille rose climbs one sleeve and a split red heart sits on the other. Striped rib collar, cuffs and hem, snap front and a quilted lining complete the jacket. Reference UC2C4206-2.
Size 4 (around a Japanese XL) with 55 cm shoulders and 62 cm across the chest. Made in Japan and in like-new condition.
