The autumn-winter 2025 Undercover x Adieu Type 222: polished black leather loafers on a ridged commando sole, tied with a broad black grosgrain ribbon and signed in gold script across each vamp.
The Piece
Adieu, the Paris shoemaker known for its numbered Type models and chunky soles, has been a regular Undercover partner, and the collaborations consistently sell through quickly. For autumn-winter 2025 the two produced the Type 222, a loafer that brings together Adieu's construction and Jun Takahashi's romantic, slightly unsettling sense of ornament.
The upper is high-shine black leather with a moc-style apron, a gold script signature foiled on each vamp, and an oversized black ribbon tied across the instep. The sole is a thick black rubber unit with sawtooth sidewalls and the Adieu diamond logo under foot. Both labels are printed on the insole. Reference UC2E4F03, Japanese retail ¥121,000.
