An Isetan-exclusive version of the Undercover rider jacket, black cowhide trimmed with navy leather at the collar, hem band and buckled side adjusters.

The Piece

Isetan Shinjuku has long commissioned special versions from Japan’s leading designers, and the Undercover two-tone rider is one of the better-known results. The classic house rider is cut in black cowhide with navy leather used for the under-collar, the waist band and the side adjusters, so the contrast shows only when the jacket moves or the lapels are opened.

It follows the British rider pattern: asymmetric front zip, snap-down lapels, coin pocket, zip pockets with pull chains, zip cuffs and buckled side straps. The We Make Noise Not Clothes slogan is stitched in gold at the chest.

The neck carries the UISM Made by UCLAB Rebel Clothes patch with a size 0 tab, and the Undercover Co. Ltd care label, made in Japan.

Size 0 suits a slim build up to about 170 cm. The leather has started to take on the shape of its wearer, which is exactly what a good rider should do.
