A new-season Undercover lambskin blouson printed across the back with one of Cindy Sherman’s black-and-white Untitled Film Stills, lined in silk with wool and cashmere rib trims.
The Piece
Jun Takahashi and Cindy Sherman have worked together before, and the Undercover jackets bearing her photographs are among the house’s most collected. For Autumn-Winter 2026 he returned to her Untitled Film Stills, the late-1970s series in which Sherman cast herself as anonymous heroines of imagined films.
The blouson is cut from soft black lambskin with a ribbed stand collar and hem in a wool and cashmere blend, a two-way front zip, two slanted welt pockets and snap cuffs. The back carries the photograph printed directly onto the leather, a woman seated in a chair with her gaze turned away, the grain of the film still preserved. The lining is pure silk, and the left cuff is marked with the Undercover logo.
The piece is new and unworn with its original hang tag and the hanger it came on. The tag reads UC2F4201, colour A. Black, size 4, with a retail price in Japan of ¥264,000.
Size 4 suits a men’s large. It is a contemporary piece with real archive potential.
