This exceptionally rare stadium jacket represents a peak collaboration between The Real McCoy’s and Disney, released in a strictly limited run of only 300 pieces. Produced in Japan, it merges American varsity heritage with obsessive Japanese reproduction standards, resulting in a garment that functions as both wearable history and archival collectible.
The jacket features a fully embroidered Mickey Mouse “Touchdown” motif across the back, executed in dense chain-stitch and patch layering reminiscent of mid‑century American athletic jackets. The use of genuine leather sleeves paired with a heavy wool body follows original 1940s–1950s stadium jacket construction methods.
Unlike mass-market Disney apparel, this piece was conceived for adult collectors and vintage specialists. Real McCoy’s applied period-correct ribbing, silhouette balance, and embroidery scale, ensuring authenticity rather than novelty.
Condition is ranked B, consistent with careful ownership. Minor rib knit wear and light leather patina are present, aligning with age-appropriate preservation rather than damage. Structurally sound, embroidery intact.
This jacket appeals to collectors of Real McCoy’s, Disney archival apparel, varsity jackets, and postwar Americana. Limited releases of this caliber are seldom reintroduced once dispersed into private collections.
