An early READYMADE tote in reworked vintage military camouflage, covered in multicolour flower and star patches and topped with suede-finish leather.

The Piece

READYMADE rebuilds old army canvas into new shapes. Here a camouflage in olive, grey and white is cut into a deep tote with a buckled flap, and bright appliquéd patches in neon pink, blue, green and orange gather across the front like confetti.

The model was made in very small numbers in the label’s early years and is no longer produced. A woven READYMADE label inside reads “Made from vintage U.S. army tent fabric”.

Date code, stamps, stitching and hardware engraving are examined together and documented in Japan before dispatch. Every piece carries the Japonista authenticity guarantee. Store it in its dust bag away from heat and direct sun, keep it out of damp, and wipe gently with a soft dry cloth.
