A commanding matched pair of enamel-on-copper lidded jars in the cloisonne tradition, decorated with animated dragons and mythic beasts across a warm, golden ground. At roughly 55 cm in height each, these vessels read as architectural objects rather than tabletop ornaments: the scale is designed to anchor an interior with symmetrical “palace-room” presence.

The silhouette is ceremonial—rounded shoulders, generous belly, and a tall fitted lid with a small knop handle. Decoration is dense and continuous, with flowing creature forms and scrolling foliage arranged to keep the eye moving around the body.

Attribution and origin: presented as Qing dynasty style / antique-period attribution based on listing language and visual characteristics. Without independent authentication, this is not asserted as a definitive period claim. Offered from Japan; cultural origin is best framed as Chinese (Qing-style) unless proven otherwise.

  • Size (each): approx. 32 cm W × 32 cm D × 55 cm H
  • Weight (each): approx. 12 kg (pair net approx. 24 kg)

Condition: age-related wear may be present as expected for heavy decorative objects. Prior to shipping, prioritize lid fit, rim integrity, enamel stability, and base stability. Review images carefully.
