Neighborhood's Leather Sports Jacket from Spring/Summer 2026, a short zip-front jacket in black cowhide with a pointed collar and a zipped chest pocket, worn only two or three times.
The Piece
Neighborhood was founded in Harajuku in 1994 by Shinsuke Takizawa, and has spent three decades refining a language of motorcycle culture, American workwear and military surplus. Its leather jackets are made in small numbers each season and are the backbone of the label's following among riders and collectors.
The Leather Sports Jacket is the house's take on the 1950s sports or car-coat jacket: a clean zip front, a short point collar, a zipped pocket on the left chest, angled slash pockets at the hips and buttoned cuffs. The cowhide has a soft, slightly glazed finish that will wrinkle and darken with wear, and the back is cut with a yoke and plain panel.
Size XL is the hardest to find in Neighborhood outerwear. It is suited to a men's large to extra large and sits at the hip.
Neighborhood's leathers are produced in limited numbers each season and usually sell out quickly in larger sizes. Bought from this season, barely worn, this jacket has all of its break-in still ahead, and the leather will crease and develop character with every ride or walk.
