All four works of Murakami's Mememe Kurage (White) series, めめめくらげ 白, drift together as one floating ecosystem of eyeball-motif spheres. Each offset lithograph is hand-signed at lower right from an edition of 300, and the complete suite is presented in matching white frames, ready to hang as a quadriptych.
The Piece
The compositions feature the artist's iconic eyeball-motif spheres, floating like jellyfish or microscopic organisms and rendered with radiant color gradients, concentric rings and soft organic branching forms. Set in white space, they hover weightlessly, recalling both biological movement and digital abstraction, and blend whimsy, minimalism and Superflat precision.
The set includes all four works, No.1 to No.4, each on a 50 × 50 cm sheet and each from an edition of 300, signed by hand in the lower right. Framed alike in white at about 62 × 62 cm, the series reads as a quadriptych suited to gallery-level display or to turning a private room into a curated environment. Signed offset lithographs from coherent Murakami series are valued for their precision, color fidelity and connection to the studio's production philosophy, and full sets rarely appear.
