A life-size black nylon teddy bear that carries your things on its back, the largest and most theatrical piece in the Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Dolls bag series.
The Piece
The Dolls series turns soft toys into bags, a playful idea that Mihara Yasuhiro executes with real craft. The T-Rex, cat and panda versions found a cult following in Japan and abroad, and the Bear Extra from spring-summer 2025 is the boldest of them: a seated bear large enough to be carried like a companion.
The bear is made in a matte black technical nylon, lightweight and durable, and stuffed so it holds its shape with ears, muzzle and paws fully modelled. A long two-way zip runs down its back to open a lined storage compartment with a leather-trimmed edge. A detachable black saffiano-textured leather strap clips on with polished silver-tone carabiner hooks engraved with the house name, and a small leather badge carries the Maison Mihara Yasuhiro mark.
It can be worn over one shoulder or across the body. It is a conversation piece first, but the compartment takes a phone, wallet and a light layer.

Authenticity & Care
Labels, stamps, fabric or leather, hardware engraving and stitching are examined together and documented in Japan before dispatch. Every piece carries the Japonista authenticity guarantee. Wipe the nylon with a damp cloth; keep the leather strap away from water and store the bear stuffed in its natural shape.
Delivery from Japan
