A blown-out indigo trucker jacket fused to an olive quilted military liner, from autumn-winter 2025 and still carrying its original tags.
The Piece
For autumn-winter 2025 Mihara Yasuhiro returned to his favourite trick of layering one archetype over another, here crossing a classic denim trucker with the quilted liner of a military field jacket. The idea is that the denim has worn away to reveal the military piece underneath, and the result looks like a jacket that has lived several lives before it reached you.
The shell is a heavily washed indigo denim with button-flap chest pockets, a centre zip with a buttoned storm placket and a point collar. Large rips at the shoulders, back and sleeves open onto an olive quilted lining printed with faded stencil numbering, and the liner drops below the hem at the front so both layers read at once. The fraying is dense and controlled, with long cream threads left loose around each break. The house patch with name and password lines sits at the lower front.
Size 46 is the house large and the cut is deliberately cropped and balloon-shaped, very wide through the chest and sleeves. It sits best over a hoodie with straight or wide trousers, and the olive and indigo combination is easy to wear with black or grey.
