The Zippy Wallet in black Monogram Empreinte: supple calfskin with the Monogram pressed into it rather than printed on, closed by a gold-tone zip.

The Piece

Empreinte arrived in 2010, embossing the Monogram into soft grained calfskin, so the pattern reads by touch and shadow.

The Zippy is Louis Vuitton’s most useful long wallet: twelve card slots, three note compartments and a zipped coin purse in the centre. This one is dated by its microchip, used from 2021.
