The Piece
Louis Vuitton’s 2012 Kusama ready-to-wear carried the artist’s dots over entire garments. This trench keeps the classic cut — storm flap, belt, double-breasted front — and then buries it in polka dots, with an inner lining of silk printed with cherries and Monogram flowers.
The label inside reads Louis Vuitton, Paris, with Yayoi Kusama’s signature.
