Louis Vuitton × Takashi Murakami Cosmic Blossom Pareo M72515, Pink Multicolor Superflat Flower Shawl

One of the brightest expressions of Louis Vuitton’s collaboration with Takashi Murakami: smiling Superflat flowers scattered like a constellation across a vivid pink field. Opened to full size, the pareo becomes a wearable mural of the artist’s work.

The Piece

The all-over bloom of Murakami flowers is joined by a cosmic Louis Vuitton Monogram motif. The lightweight fabric has a gentle transparency and fluid movement, so the pareo drapes easily as a shawl, scarf or wrap, or as beachwear, and it can anchor an entire outfit.

Model M72515 belongs to the later Murakami period, when Louis Vuitton turned to more vivid, pop-forward textile designs produced over limited seasons. Within the 2003–2015 partnership, in which Superflat flowers, the multicolor Monogram and animated characters turned the house canvas into global pop icons, Cosmic Blossom sits among the final textile-focused works. The print here remains sharp and the color saturation brilliant.
