A crinkled, featherweight hooded windbreaker from Louis Vuitton in regenerated ECONYL nylon, washed with orange and white tie-dye over the Monogram Bandana print.

The Piece

The Monogram Bandana print folds the house flowers into the paisley and borders of a classic bandana, an emblem of workwear and Americana. In 2022 Louis Vuitton paired it with tie-dye and with ECONYL, a nylon regenerated from waste such as fishing nets, for a run of light, packable outerwear.

The fabric has a crinkled, seersucker-like quilted texture that holds its volume and catches the light. Bright orange and white tie-dye blooms across the bandana pattern, with small Monogram flowers and paisley visible throughout. It closes with a tonal orange zip and has a full hood edged in orange binding, elasticated cuffs and hem, and a breathable pink mesh lining.

Size 48 is cut wide and blousy with a dropped shoulder, so it sits easily over a sweatshirt. It weighs almost nothing and folds into a bag, a good companion for spring travel.
