A limited release of 2003, the first year of the Louis Vuitton × Takashi Murakami partnership, the Sac Dalmatian M92825 sets Murakami's Monogram Multicolor beside dalmatian-pattern calf hair and polished gold hardware. It is one of the most imaginative and ambitious designs of the era, offered in rank A condition with its dust bag.

The Piece

The collaboration fused Parisian heritage with hyper-color pop art and defined a generation of luxury collectors through its bold palette, playful monograms and limited releases. The Sac Dalmatian, seen in its day on runways, in editorials and on early-2000s icons, is among its most elusive creations, pairing Monogram Multicolor with avant-garde textures and couture-level detailing.

The front flap carries Murakami's rainbow LV Monogram on a noir ground, framed by vachetta trim studded with distinctive early-2000s hardware. Beneath the flap, natural dalmatian-pattern calf hair adds a tactile couture dimension, a feature rarely seen in Louis Vuitton history and made only in the smallest production runs. The compact, structured silhouette has the glamorous proportions of the time and is finished with a matching leather luggage-tag charm and a gold-tone S-lock.

Reinforced corners, golden rivets, precise stitching and a tailored shoulder strap complete the construction. The vibrance and texture that make Dalmatian pieces among the most hunted by Murakami collectors are well preserved here, and examples resurface rarely in such condition.
