A powerful, architectural incense burner (koro) in bronze-toned metal, built in a classic tripod censer format and crowned with a shishi (guardian lion) finial. Layered lid tiers, strong horizontal banding, and an openwork base give the piece temple-like presence and sculptural shadow.

This censer form carries a long lineage across East Asia; in Japanese interiors it is often used for altar staging, incense culture, and high-style display. The shishi finial functions as protective symbolism—guardian energy above the vessel.

Presence: the listing confirms substantial weight (approx. 4.970 kg). At 27 cm tall, it anchors a cabinet or tokonoma-inspired arrangement without requiring freight logistics.

  • Size: approx. 23 cm W × 16 cm D × 27 cm H
  • Weight: approx. 4.970 kg

Condition: header indicates no obvious damage/soil; minor patina variation is normal. Confirm lid fit, tripod stability, and interior residue if previously used.
